The Anniversary Edition

An appropriate post for the first day of August (it's 10 p.m. July 31st night, so close enough!) ...

In honor of our upcoming anniversary on August 9th, 2012 (FOUR YEARS!!!), I thought I would do a recap from the wedding til now of that day every year! First, our actual wedding day!!!

Then... we were MARRIED!!!

Next, our one year anniversary!! We were living in Charleston, SC and paid $180 to have a private

flight over our favorite lighthouse and the middle of the ocean for an hour at sunset. SO PERFECT...even if it was a million degree day!!

Next, our second year anniversary!! By far my most favorite I must say!! We went to a Josh Turner concert in Colorado Springs, Colorado and got SECOND ROW TICKETS FOR BOTH OF US FOR $90!!!!! So exciting. Plus, we got to meet the Josh Abbott Band and take pics with them (who we now love) and got Josh Turner's guitar pick! Ahh! 

On the 2 hr drive there...

Lastly, our third year anniversary. We had tiny amounts of money at this point so we kept it really low key and just went to Red Lobster, which is a special occasion in and of itself, because we never do. And I definitely got a chocolate piece of cake the size of my head, even if I did have to bring it home and eat it over the next three days, because it was bigger than my entire meal. But for real. Plus KJ started a new quarter of school that day :( But we made up in October for it by going to Ogden, Utah where they filmed Everwood (our favorite t.v. show) and it was an AWESOME trip!! Utah is by far the most beautiful place I have ever seen in my entire life. Period.

do better this year! :) I know I got flowers too, but not sure where those pics ended up either at the moment! 

We are so very excited about our anniversary this year!!! It is always our favorite day of the entire year and the one day that we plan for all year. I married the best!!! And I'll end with a flashback... our very first pic we ever took together!!! :)
